We are pleased to introduce that we will hold "Yuka Hamamoto Exhibition" as a memorial of her winning of the Paris Award at the Showakai Exhibition 2019.

Yuka Hamamoto expresses an ironic situation where we cannot help "wearing and exhausting and hurting stuffed animals as much as we love them" as "gentle violence," implying that such relationship exists between humans and in the society. She paints with her elaborately realistic touch "incomplete and distorted love" where we don't know how to love although we want to, and we cannot cherish even though we want to, with her wish to cherish such clumsy love. Please enjoy approximately 50 pieces of her work elaborated with her spirit.
