August 26 to September 2, 2024 Closed Sundays
We are pleased to inform you of "The 11th Mirai-ten (Future Exhibition) - Galerie Nichido Art School Student Support Program." Mirai-ten was launched in 2014 as a planned exhibition of recommendation and contest style and has reached its 11th exhibition with support of various universities, faculties and juries. For the memorial of its 10th exhibition last year, we requested the grand prize and second grand prize winning artists from the 1st to 9th exhibitions to exhibit their works to support the event and to give presentations on their current activities. As said in the main purpose of its executive committee to provide student artists with a place for learning and an opportunity for challenge, it is our great pleasure to see the artists who have participated in this exhibition actively and successfully work in the modern art industry.
This year, totally eight schools including the regularly attending seven schools; Tokyo University of the Arts, Musashino Art University, Tama Art University, Joshibi University of Art and Design, Nihon University College of Art and Tōhoku University of Art & Design and Tokyo Zokei University with Saga University of Arts as an invited school. We will also set up the "Art School Student Support Program" this year, and the grand prize winner will receive a monthly grant from Galerie Nichido for two years. A ballot box will be installed at the site for the period from August 26 to August 31 during the exhibition for a popularity poll by the fans who visit the exhibition. We appreciate your cooperation for the attempt to explore the young artists.
