Mr. Ryuta Kashiwamoto received the Showakai Exhibition Nichido Bijutsu Zaidan Award in 2003 and has held large-scale exhibitions at the Main Gallery in Tokyo and Fukuoka Gallery since his first solo show in 2004. He is the most attractive oil painter for his paintings of orchestra players and jazz music players with vibrant and dynamic touch.
The theme that lies in all pieces exhibited at this exhibition is "Hibiki (vibrancy)." For Mr. Kashiwamoto, "Hibiki" does not express only sound phenomena such as resonance and harmony but he also thinks it has the meaning of visual sense such as harmony and contrast of colors and shapes. His paintings of players as well as landscapes and still objects play "Hibiki" with delicate repetition of light and shade which creates comfortable space.
We will exhibit together approximately 30 pieces of his spirited works into which he devoted to express movement, flow and vibrancy. Please enjoy the show.
