It is our pleasure to introduce Masahide Kobayashi Exhibition. Since his award-winning at Showakai, Mr. Kobayashi has specialized himself for approximately thirty years in various subjects such as portrait, still life and landscape and has continued to fully explore representational paintings. With his sound descriptive ability as foundation and his continuous inquisitive mind have borne fruit, showing feeling of elegance in the paintings.
For the pieces for this exhibition, he carefully worked on landscape, particularly waterfront sceneries mainly in small towns in France. Shades of trees reflected in pure water gently embrace us and give us relaxing structure and elegance uniquely created by the mature painter. Enjoy about thirty pieces of his new work.
