Motonari Kakei Exhibition
~A Mand and a Woman at a Café

We have received new pieces of Mr. Motonari Kakei after three years. Mr. Kakei had his atelier in Paris for a long time and he has continued to paint the European cities and lives of the people living there even after he returned to Japan about ten years ago. His painting style shows somewhat nostalgic taste which always leads the viewers to a journey to foreign countries.
Although he continued to regularly visit foreign countries mainly including Europe to collect information, he has not been able to do it after Covid-19. However, the artist's memories and imagination brilliantly become one scene on the canvas with a lot of sentiment with fresh air through space and time. Please enjoy approximately 30 new pieces
